I have a few problems with somethings on my discovery td5 1999

I have owned this car for 8 years and always had it serviced every 4 months regardless of miles.

The problems I've had are the following....

When the engine is running i can hear a knocking sound until I press the clutch down. It had a new clutch 10,000 miles ago and the gear box was a re con until 30,000 miles ago.

The disco has a allisport intercooler, PSI booster box.

The manifold gasket blowes every 10,000 miles or so so advice on that would be good.

Gear leaver moves around quiet a bit is this the bias (think thats right) or something else.

otherwise I love the car its great, when i brought it it has 30,000 now 145,000 miles and no difference in driving it.
