Hi All
I am thinking of buying a 2005 Discovery 3, 4.4 HSE.
I need some good advice on an LPG solution so I can factor the cost into the purchase price.
Currently I am being advised by my own mechanic that Prins or AG are the only systems to use... however the cost to install with my guy is pretty high £2760 inc VAT for the Prins.
I have approached Leeds LPG who are quoting £1400 - £1500 inc VAT for their top system which is a KME.. any comments?
Another installer, CLS Dual-fuel have quoted me £2038 inc VAT for a BRC system.. any comments?
As you can see, the price varies quite a bit and there are different makes. I would welcome any advice you guys may have.
Also, I understand the electrical components / sensor for the handbrake is above the spare wheel where the LPG tank would be fitted, does anyone know if that could easily / safely be re-positioned to avoid having to remove the LPG tank if a fault occurred with the handbrake?
