Attached to the back of the fuse box , which is in the driver's footwell.
If the rear heated window , rear wiper, fog light, intermittent wipers were working, then the unit is ok, but I need the beige one, not the black one.
The beige one is on later discos 1, from around '96 on, in fact from vin va534104, you can get the number from your v5

Buy a new one, lots of the S/H ones are no less than 17yrs old now, might last the rest of the vehicles life might last 2wks after fitting, and that's if you can find one at all of course

Update; got sent an mfu in double quick time, second hand from '4x4partsonline', very good service, based in Trefeglwys , very decent price, and it works, so I am pleased as punch.
I ordered the part one evening at 5pm, it was delivered the next morning to Northumberland at 11.30 am !
