Hi guys I'm looking a bit if advice with my 4.6 with LPG kit.
The bottom block has cracked, so needs top hat/liner repair or replacement engine. Unfortunately due to redundancy I can't afford to do either. So really I'm wondering, what sort of value would be in the car as it stands, bodywork and interior are vgc.
How much would a reasonable engine be for it and what sort of value if it was up and running?

You may get a grand as spares or repair. At least 800 for a Thor engine

Worth next to nothing with a knackered block. The cost of replacing blocks in V8's can now cost more than the cars worth rendering it uneconomical unless you intend on keeping it.
If funds allow i would keep it until better times financially & invest in a top hat block.

I got £800 scrap for my 4.6 when it blew the hg 3 years ago
I now wish id kept it as a doner car though

Blimey, I was offered a good runner for £400 last year and turned it down - worth more scrap by all accounts!
