I have searched and can't find a post about whats good.
Don't have a lot to spend so I can't afford flux capacitors or a twin battery system at the moment. What I need is a battery that will start my bloody land rover and hold enough charge till I want to us it again so I can start it. Cheap as poss without being useless. What do you guys think, I have a 72amp one atm lol

I've got a very good battery at home I wouldn't mind being rid of. Almost brand new, I only ran with it for about 4 months before I changed it. Works brilliantly and quite powerful. Can't remember the specs but will check when I get home. £30 its yours

We had a cheapo Japanese 72AH in our D2 V8 when we bought it, that was still working when we fitted a 110AH Varta into the battery box (D2) 3 years later. D1 has a smaller battery compartment so won't take that size. 72AH is the factory fitted size for the V8.

Don't buy a sealed battery just get a good old screwtop which you can top up, longer warranty does not guarantee a better unit
