National Mobile Windscreens have wrecked my car!! And think they can bully me in to backing down.
Mr Phil Lomas operates National Mobile Windscreens in an underhand and unprofessional manner. He breaches the conditions of supply of good and services act - 1982. In 2010 his staff replaced my windscreen, I complained about the conduct of the men and the damage they had caused to the interior of the vehicle. It took 2mths to resolve. Two yrs later I found extensive damage to the windscreen aperture. It took 8mths for Mr Lomas to confirm liability. Having accepted liability for damage to my vehicle based on an engineers assessment in February and land rover also confirming the damage was caused by the window fitters, he then took my car into his garage on the pretense that they would fully repair it. Without my knowledge he stated they had an 'assessor' view my car. Something I was not informed about, I informed Mr Lomas he was not to do any further work on the vehicle until I had viewed it, this was agreed between Mr Lomas and the insurance company that recommended this company. Then without my permission installed a new windscreen and didn't even have the courtesy to inform me before trying to return my car. This company is not upstanding in any way, they are just as underhand as the wheeler dealers on rogue traders in my opinion.
