Is there anyone near to me who has a Nanocom for a Disco V8 Thor who might be able to help me please?
I would like to swap my ECM with another but it needs coding to the BCM (or is it the other way round). I have been waiting for three weeks for a Land Rover technician with Testbook to help me out but he seems to be letting me down. I'm not totally sure that he knows how to do it. I believe that a Nanocom can do this but a HawkEye can't.
This is my latest attempt to solve the very rough running on my car, which is now turning into a very long story. There are lots of faults showing, and no-one can find out why. At this stage I am considering that it could be the ECM that's at fault rather than the sensors or the sensor readings, especially since in the past there has been a fault cured by fixing a bad connection to the ECM. I have a spare ECM on loan.
I can travel a medium distance for this, but the car's really not running properly at all so don't want to overdo it. I live between Huntingdon and Peterborough.
