Hi all. Put my nanocom evo on and done a cylinder check at tickover. All cylinders read about 1 or 2 except cylinder 5 which seems to read -9. Anyone got any ideas. Motor starts and runs fine although a bit chuggy on takeoff. iiam still losing a little water and fear head gasket or water pump but just wondered if this could be an indicayer.

One cylinder out of balance, i'd investigate further in that direction. I usually see equal readings for all 5.

always cyl 5 wears out first due to the absence of glowplug on it ... so did mine too

it was no5 injector that was knakered on mine, fitted new injectors and balance is correct

Once I read, as long as the unbalance is below double digits (+/- 10) - then no problem ..

Comments anyone?

Mine jigger about +-2 on each pot but No5 is always a bit more twitchy until the engine warms up.
