Hi All

At a bit of a loss, hoping you can help with me new noise.

Starts over at 20/30mph, worse when warmed up.

Sounds like a wheel bearing running dry.

Feels like front end.

No difference when coasting out of gear with clutch down or braking.

Worse when turning left, quieter straight on, goes when turning right.

Just had off side CV joint done. That wasn't it.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Start by checking the UJs on both prop shafts. Noises can be hard to locate on a landy, but they are always a suspect. I'd jack up the front on both sides and take the wheels and prop off. If there's anything up with the bearings or other CV you might feel it when spinning the hubs.

Seems related to sideways thrust if it changes when turning. Turning left means right wheel pushed inboard and left outboard. And vice versa.
When you say no change when braking assume noise still there, so could be brake pads worn/no lining/trapped stone?
Depends how loud/noisy noise is? Scraping/rubbing/clonking?
Just my thoughts.
