Well I suppose I've been lucky to have had 250 miles per week, mostly motorway driving, for the last four months in my new job. Sundays is water, oil and other fluids checks and this was sat at the back of the engine head. It wasn't attached to anything, so does anyone know where it's vibrated from? If you have to break the news that it's a major massive expensive problem, do it in a positive way :0):

Whilst I agree completely that it is part of the heat shield for the inlet plenum ( HRC2636 ) - it's there for a reason, and is not stupid money ... so I'd fit a new one ... and if I could find the bl@@dy part number .... I'd give you a link to one too - but I can't - the new "russian" lrcat<dot>net thing ain't working
