But I don't think my 33, 12.5, 15 wheel s are going to fit. Due to fuel tank

Yep that is the 30l fuel tank in the rear quarter as it has 2 lpg tanks in place of the original fuel tank and 2 sill tanks.
So far rest of the disco looks very tidy and sounds amazing

Personally I'd tig up a set of rock sliders and I say TIG so they're definitely air/fuel tight then use the sliders as the tanks

Like the idea doc

But I don't tig and don't have access to one

Going to have a proper look tomorrow see if I can move tank back a few inches

Don't like how the LPG filler is. Going to move that into a HD bumper

Rock sliders acting as fuel tanks??? Wouldn't fancy that myself like. I know I can use as thick steel as u like but a bit vulnerable wouldn't u say?!

Nope, guy in OZ used rock sliders as LPG tanks on his classic no problems

Stu you can always stick weld it just make sure you do a pass inside and out like you would with TIG and make sure its good pass as some rods I've found are just plain ****e!

Wont touch SIF again, no matter how hard I try I end up with a bit of slag in the weld whereas if I break out the Murex, ESABS or Oerlikons theres nothing in them at all

You have to make it from channel so you can put baffles in so when you put the ends on weld twice. Top can only be done on one side so I'd use tig there as I've got tig mig and stick at home as well as pulsed versions
