Thames Valley police have recovered it along with another/others I believe.
It is now a different colour and had diffferent plates but it is apparanty ok (I hope)

Never thought I would see it again, wonder how long I have to wait to get it back?

I am sooooo happy

Nice one ... ;)

.. sorry to dampen it a bit, but what happens to the insco payout? If you had one, of course.

Only asking 'cos a nephew of mine (just been to a family funeral so met 'em all again) is in a similar situation and had to pay them back a few thousand, but there's a few 'issues' ... ;)

Its been missing just under two weeks, insurance haven't paid out, in fact I haven't heard anything from them since the day it was stolen

Well done Thames Valley Police

Congrats :) nice to hear some good news, hope they sprayed it marine blue with a white roof ;)

You never know it may even have a winch, light bar and guards on it also, fingers crossed hehe.

Piccys pls :)

I was under the impression that once you accept the payment, from the insurance. The vehicle (should it reappear) belongs to the insurer.

Great news . the theiving scum bags lost this time

I know you havnt but if a claim is paid out then the recovered vehicle is the property of the insurance company . You would only have to pay it back if you wished to keep the car

Excellent news! I hope she's in one piece and undamaged, and I hope they caught the thieving ****ebags who took her (and cut their hands off; but that's just wishful thinking....)

(and cut their hands off; but that's just wishful thinking....)

should stake them out in a field and park a landy over the top. the constant drip drip drip drip of oil would be like chinese water torture and slowly drive them insane.

good news it's been found though.

I have now been told that its a really bad paint job and the garage thinks it will be scrapped!!!. The lady from soco said I would be shocked. Would the insurance scrap a perfectly good landy just because of that??
Now I am really worried again. How much does a respray cost??

dont be too worried.... if they decide to scrap it, you can then buy it off them.

you'll get the insurance payout and then buy the landy off the insurance..

well, at least I know this can be done with bikes..
