Hi All,
I've just bought this 1970 Series 2A (which I've named "Winston")
I'll be re-painting it in the nice Blue/Cream combination, and fixing all the little niggles and issues with it (which are surprisingly few) - Loving the fact that it's Tax + MOT exempt and the insurance was £96

Nice, first job get a proper 2a mesh grll and sell that s3 grill asap.

Like it. As well as grill if you are into originality SWB 2a would have had razor edge bonnet not the delux type on yours. The Blue Cream I recon is one of the nicest looks.

Think deluxe bonnet was an option on cars and standard on station wagons?
I do think razoe edge looks the nuts.

I think you are right about it being a option but never knew of anyone who went for it.
