Nice landy, if you want to increase the height, stick some higher lift parabolic springs on instead of the standard leaf springs, the parabolics are just modern, nicer versions of leafs.

As for a V8, I once thought of doing that, but since my series 3 is a daily drive (not daily, but my only car) and I'm a poor student, I couldn't possibly afford the insurance or petrol, so I'm stick a 200 TDI in instead, but a V8 ain't too hard.
I'm sure someone else will tell you that though.

Enjoy your landy, is it your only car?

Hi there no my landy is a weekend play toy :D i have an lpg kit on it atm too :D. i am a plant fitter ( Repair diggers and dumpers) so ive got loads of tools :D . were is the best place to get them springs? can you get better hangers for them too

Decent Parabolics are in shortage atm so you need to have a hunt round, And if you want even more of a lift you can fit 1-tonne Shackles...

DON'T GET BRITPART PARABOLICS FFS!

rocky mountain are meant to be good for springs that is where i am gonna get mine from when i get round to it

found 3 sets :) if your willing to pay big bucks for them lol:D has anyone done a diff seal on one befor and what kinda job is it? waiting for my workshop manual in the post :D
