just bought a 1973 series 3, its been off the road since november 2000.
i have bought it off an old boy who in november 2000 sent it away to have a galvanised chassis put in, a granada v6 and new foot wells. but on the way to pick it up he had an accident and never got there so while he was in hospital his wife had it delivered back to his house where it has sat since.
the only thing i can see it needs is a bit of welding to the windscreen hinge, some welding to 1 door top and the wind screen frame is quite rotten so that wants replacing really.
the only question is should i keep the v6 or should i go 200tdi
