Hi i have recently bought a 2004 freelander TD4, I seem to have a problem there is a rumbling sound from the rear end when i go round corners. This only seems to happen when i have been driving for a while, has anyone got any clues:(:(:(

Best thing to do is say hi in the introduce yerself section, then post this in the freelander section.
or else you may get pounced on and ribbed.
I would never rib a FL driver because my piggie won't let me:(

:welcome2:to the madhouse was gonna say tyres but I don't know if the TD4 had the same problem other than that prop bearing's or bushes need changing prop flage oil seal
all i ca think of at the mo

Did you check the VCU and IRD before you bought your freelander?
 
Sounds like rear wheel bearings. Is it worse when turning one way or the other? If so, even more likely it is a bearing gone.
