Bloo disco 2

Hi all a quick pic of my Disco.
It's in need of a bit of tlc before I add some shiny new bits but the journey has started!

Oil changes to do (gearbox, transfer box, engine, and both axels) then welding of the rear chassis, top of the rear arches and top of the front arches where they meet the bulkhead

That's what I've found so far, also have a sus****ion that either the rear half shafts have some wear or there's play in the rear and front prop shafts!

Really looking forward to bringing it back to full life and hopefully a long one.

Andy

Hello Andy, enjoy your disco....
Mine has been around since 2000, and hopefully it wont be going anywhere any time soon - the one vehicle I will never sell.

Yours riding a little low in the back - have you got stuff loaded in the back, or air suspension playing up?

Hi Bud,
It doesn't move to be honest, stays the same height all the time.
If i pump it up it goes up and then settles back to the same height every time so not sure if it's the camera angle?

Play could be tfer gbox splines

Have noticed though that when i stop and put the hand brake on that i can rock the car back and forth a little!

Anyhow even with all it's niggly faults, still love it.

Rocking with hbrake on is normal, all trans handbraked vehicles do it
