Hello, I'm Ryan, 17 from the Isle of Wight.
I have seen a Series III, near to my house, and it has been sat there for roughly 10 years probably. I've looked in through the window, it needs a whole new interior and look like there is possibly rats/mice. To my knowledge it hasn't been started since it was first put there. Glass also looks like it needs a clean up as it's green.
Does anyone have a rough amount I could offer for this, bearing in mind it needs new interior, engine possibly doesn't work. Needs a respray and a new rear left tyre.
TIA

Firstly welcome, secondly the interior is the least of your worries, check for rust, under windscreen, at the back below door - if very rusty then walk away! good luck, [welcome btw]

Ok, I was going to go have a look tomorrow and try to make an offer for it. I didn't originally see any rust but I only looked at the back and sides. I'll give it a full inspection tomorrow.

The heart of a landy is the chassis and the bulkhead, repair panels can be got for both but if it's bad it can end up a money pit. interior is unimportant to a degree, all tyres will be knacked if it's been stood that long.
If it's tax exempt it's worth more.

Probably possibly been around the sea a bit being the IOW. Salty air/water= rusty .
Yeah very true, Although a lot of vehicles I've looked at on the island are quite rust free, And as it is a ex service vehicle I assume it has been cleaned regularly while in service, And where it is now is a few miles away from any sea, but will definitely give it a good once over to check for rust
