Is the steering wandering all over the shop? Could be excessive play on in the steering - I have the same problem at the moment - looks like I am drunk when I am driving on the motorway.

check the tracking, the steering joints, the ball joints, ALL the bushes, check the steering box for play, and the steering rod UJ's, and the swivel bearings.

Come back when you can't find the above or have checked them all or need advice on how to check them :D

I drove mine a fiew days ago for the first time in ages, went through some shicanes and it swung from left to right when i tryed straiting it out. On checking my rear tyres, found they were inflated to 13 psi and 11psi. Pumped them up and its fine.
