Hi guy's & girls just had my 1st Land Rover a 300tdi Discovery Arden on a P really pleased till i filled her up £75  and was told already had £20 in hope i don't have to fuel up again till October lol:)

My SIII, first and almost the ONLY time I filled it completely from near dry, cost me £120!
That was in 2001, when deseasil was about 75p/l!
Mind you, had expedition tanks!
Rangie, by contrast, costs me £45 to fill from 'dry'........ well, at least the LPG tank does!
Takes 90L at around 50p/l.... I LIKE!
Dont like the fact it burns it twice as fast tho.......

bung it full of WVO, thatll cut the cost ( well it will if its doosel - if it ay, then u've f***** up).

WVO - thats waste vegetable oil ofr the uninitiated, as for biodiesel the beauty of the tdi engine is that it will take just about abuse you throw at it, so yes use the cheaper bio, but if you go for the still cheaper option of WVO ( or home brew diesel) read up on this and many other forums.
mine runs on a mixture of around 50% filtered WVO to dino diesel and I've had little in the way of problems and it sailed thro the MOT emissions check, about the only problem being the exhaust smelling like a bad chippy :)
