Hi,
Joined here ages ago, not used it for a while but started again recently. I use Mozilla Firefox normally but find that certain parts of the forum, like the drop-down 'forum Tools' or 'Search' features don't work. Checked in IE7 and they all work fine. Can anyone suggest what I need to do in Mozilla to make it all Hunky-Dory?

Are you using Windows or Linux?
I've got Firefox/2.0.0.17 on my windows laptop which sometimes cannot display frames correctly on certain websites, I just use IE for these but on my Linux netbook I have Firefox/2.0.0.14 which seem to be less flaky. Not the answer your looking for but I've been tolerating Mozilla, Firefox and Opera for years and keep going back to IE. Bill Gates the B@stid.

I use Firefox will no problems at all. Cant use IE at all, it keeps freezing up

Try updating mozilla, what version are you using??

Using XP Pro and Firefox 3.0.3 ... everything fully updated.

Same set up on PC (fully updated), most of the time the forum works great, but every now and again I can't post or use the search threads facility. Logging out, clearing cookies/history and re-starting Firefox normally sort's out the problem, a tad annoying but it only take's a minute. Forum works fine with IE, but that browser is so slow when surfing that I don't even consider using it.

Seems that Firefox is a bit like our LR's, just slightly temperamental

Cheers Dewin, it's about what I thought as flushing the cache or a restart usually clears it ... for a while!

Strange it's only this forum though. I go on a few and only this one is affected this way.

I'm using firefox 3.0.3 or whateer the latest one is and it works ok
