I am about to install an external/internal roll cage on my defender 90", soft top.
The front part is similar to the one shown on the attached pic, and my question is regarding this part, and how it mounts to the bulkhead.
1. How much "body" do I have to remove before installing, just the side panel or also the wingtop?
2. It mounts to the chassis at the bottom, but it also seems like it mounts to the bulkhead, is that correct? If so, how?
3. Will it be necessary to cut in the wingtop?
4. Any pics of the installing process?
5. Where the front external part meets the aft internal part, the bolts need to go through the mohair top. Do you just punch them through, or do I need reinforcements of the top? If so, how did you do that?
6. Is it a more or less "plug'n play" proces, or is it an advanced DIY project?
