Sent two for MOT this week, my daily drive (sherpa) failed on hub assembly, steering assembly, washer jets and a fuel leak, they quoted it at 260 including the MOT which I didn't think was too bad but on investigation the fuel leak is from the pump. See other thread.

The other one which I chucked in so I could get a list of what to fix failed on side light not working, indicators not working....its been off the road 2 years :)

No chassis welding required to either, I welded the sherpa so I was pleased about that.....

Guess who's gonna be having a different daily driver?

Your lucky
I sent my 4 year old Toyota in for its MOT this week.
1x new shock
2 x rear disks
2 x tire's
2 x wiper blades
1 x service
1 x MOT

cost £885.17 (inc vat and less 10% discount)

Sent My 44 Year old Series 2a in for a MOT last month.

1 x New jet washer nozzle
1x MOT

Total 51.75 (Inc vat)

and they say modern cars are more reliable.

But Clive, that's cos you run your Toyota like you stole it and never look at it, and are constantly fettling your Crusty.
