One for the less mechanically capable (such as myself) this....

After suffering an absolute horror show with my MOT this time round, I was wondering what is the biggest garage bill someone on the forum has paid to get their landy through an MOT?

I haven't paid a penny for MOT, parts or labour on any of my vehicles for 10 years.

Nor me. An MOT alone costs me 2500 pennys.

I normally only have to pay the MOT bill which is around £45. I try to keep mine together all year round. This time round I did have to spend £10 to get the chassis number stamped on the chassis as they couldn't see it. Something which came into force last January over here. The only advisory I had was a small crack in the windscreen and a comment that I removed the middle front seat and replaced it with a cubby box. Otherwise I am good for another two years. ( France MOT's last two years) coming to the UK soon I believe.
