Put my 1996 300TDi in for it's MOT this morning, knowing that there was a wee hole in the rear wheel arch near the seatbelt mount, didn't get it sorted cos I thought I'd wait to see what other welding was required after the nasty man had been underneath with his little hammer. Failed on that alone, got a very nice man to put a plate on it for 20 quid, retested this afternoon. Cheapest MOT I've ever had on the old girl in the 15 years I've had her. Still in a state of shock, think I need a few beers to calm me down.
