Have wanted a old Land Rover for many years and final have an excuse to own one
I've recently bought an 88" Series 3 2.3 Diesel (1984) and I already love it
It's going to be a bit of a weekend work horse and I'm planning to maintain it myself.
My mechanic skills are considerably more rusty than my Land Rover, so there's a steep re-learning curve in my near future
Next stop Halfords for a trolley jack, axle stands and some decent quality sockets! (split my "household" ones trying to losen an exhaust bracket).
