Thought I'd best say hello before I wander off to ask numerous daft questions! 
Live in *cough* sunny *cough* Glossop, Derbyshire and have a 2.0 XEDI Hippo. Have had it from new and bar the odd well known gremlin its been great. So much so that despite making plans to change it every year we never do!
The Hippo never ventures off road, but I do! I have a Yamaha WR450 and get a lot of trail riding in aswell as some offroad (WOR Race) events. The WR tends to fair a lot better than the freelander would when I inevitably throw it against some rocks!
