I have just bought a 1994 300tdi 110 Defender and decided that as I'm going to spend time doing things to it myself, a forum like this would be handy to involve myself in, The vehicle appears structurally fine but has a few issues that i'll want sorting eventually.
Last vehicle I owned was a 1988 110 with a 300tdi conversion. Only had that one for less than a month before it was stolen
() but that was a short enough time to get used to a tdi engine rather than what I was previously used to.
The last three years I have driven a Petrol Series 3 as a daily vehicle but still remain pretty lacking in any mechanical experience (started to get costly), with a better condition 110, I think it's time to learn to do the basics really.
