yesterday i started my range up to see the status of my brake problems, when i turned the key a loud ticking noise came from the dashboard kinda behind the instrument panel anyway i left it till today and what do u know the battery is completely flat any ideas? also cold the brake problems ive had be anything to do with it?

did u leave anything on overnight?
if not your alturnator may be dead or your alarm may have been recieving signals from local interference all night and drained your batt as i have heard this before ,or maybe time for a new battery

cheers and good luck

my alarm kept going off the other night, also i have an amp going straight to the battery but ive had than on for a while.wat kind of interference do u mean?it was parked next to a street lamp if that could have done it,but what could the clicking noise be?
could it be a dodgy relay would that have allowed the battery to drain?

maybe the battery terminals need tightning up also follow the black wire from the battery and make sure it isnt a loose connection to the chassis ,remember always wire an amp to the ignition most amps have this feature ,normally - to - ,+ to + and a little bit of wire bridged fom + to ign on amp ,not straight as it will stay on constantly, and yer probly your alarm going off killed it,the clicking noise means your batt is dead nothing to worry about get a new one or jump start that one take for an hour drive to charge it but if still dead when you turn off get another or your alternator is fecked.or you have still somthing draining ,good luck
