Hi friends

so see the link below - our 5.4 rover-engined monster is finished

built in conjunction with our colleagues in germany for a wealthy swiss industrialist

this is without doubt the finest range rover in the world

final build cost was 210000 euros - but it has had 1500 hours put into it, the engine alone was 12500, everthing is top grade.

the car itself cost 20000 euros
engine................ 15000
bespoke transmission/hd axles/suspension etc 12000
the shell was dipped and sent for special coating
it will never rust 5000
brand new original interior and carpets - these were
available from switzerland - but very pricey 6000

other parts and sundries 12000

so about 70000 euros on parts

the rest is labour - 1500 hours (140000 - but 20% of that is VAT)

But let's be honest if money was no object we would all do it.

This guy has an unbelievable collection of cars - 6WD AMG G-wagen, Ferrari F40, 250GTO, Cobra 427 (genuine), etc.

....wish my shell wouldn't rust....

Also wish I had the sort of money to have such high quality work. Looks beautiful. :)
 
Hats off to you for finding a customer with bottomless pockets.
Your workshop pics are amazing - cleaner than a hospital!
 
5.4 litres? Is that the amount of water that leaks in per hour when it rains? from the VID it could be anything, even electric.
 
My my, everything looks so nice and shiny on that classic.
That's one very lucky owner.
And that workshop..... I bet they could perform surgical operations right there on the floor without any problems.
