One of the five guys in my section at work builds 2.5inch gauge, steam locos and wagons. He is working on a Britannia class at the moment.
I seriously looked at going live steam , but I've just too much else on.

built from castings & metal stock, was stripped & sometime in the early 90's the crankshaft was case-hardened but never managed to find time or hwyl for rebuild
maybe if I get some time....
