during my daily troll of ebay I came across this: LAND ROVER 110 tdi ROLLING CHASSIS my 110's chassis needs quite a bit of work doing on it so I thought to myself this may be an easier route as I need new shocks, springs and wheels as well, but Im a little put off as I don't know how I would go about registering the chassis to my landy if it has now VIN or V5?

Q plate if your lucky, if they even allow you to register it without proper title to the chassis, in the ad' the words "we understand" do not inspire confidence that the provenance will be sufficient to satisfy the authorities.

If it's a like for like swap then you could "disappear" the numbers and not tell anybody, it's not right but it does happen.
