I would be Carefull of Mobil type ones as they would be extremely helpfull and easy to reach in helping taking your money , yet difficult to reach and far to busy to sort that problem they couldn't just quite fix.

No problem common sence you can return to an indipendent garage with a Mobil type you have to relie on trust .
I don't have trust not for those type I know of people that got stung !

Hi ,
Im rebuilding a 1971 swb landy... 120miles from where I live, im ive done well this summer and she was running fine untill I fitted a new exhaust that cracked the inlet inletmanufuld etc etc, so putting it all back togeather and she wont idle etc...
Once shes running its just the passenger footwell to do and its mot time !
Would just be nice to part with a couple of quid to get her on the road and back home.... well thats the plan lol

Not directly relevant to your question, but I use one for our Audi and find them to be great. Very convenient and good value. Mine has a garage as well for big jobs but mostly it's mobile. I think if you find a good one (eg a specialist in a given marque) they're a good thing. I do think they're a dying breed though as the roads get more and more crowded because of the dead time they have travelling between jobs.
