Hello all.
Due an oil change on my Td4 FL1. I have some oil left over from previous oil changes, shell Helix 5/40 and Halfords 5/40 both fully Synthetic. Question is can I use them together.

I would. The oils are the same grade and formulation, so I can't see it being a problem.

As long as no dirt / cr*p has got into the containers while they've been sat, then no problem.
You said they're from previous oil changes, so they've both gone in before - no reason they can't be mixed.

Thanks for your replies.
Seems a shame to waste it. Change every 5 thou, as this is my yearly mileage.
