Hi Folks

last winter the freelander 1 K series began misting the centre and top left of the screen, its like a film that doesn't clear with a dry cloth.
you can see where it comes up via the centre vent.

I had the aircon regassed,the pollen filter changed and the first bit of damp weather this year its misty again.

The heater vents all throw out plenty of heat having checked as best I can there are no obvious leaks from the matrix.I have read on another thread the possibility of a condensation drain from the aircon unit being blocked.The side windows all clear when the aircon is on.

Mist = damp / moist air. AC is the best at removing it as it's dry air. Have you set the system to fresh air coming in and not recycled air?

If you have a sun roof that's usable, check that those drain tubes are clear and any water flows away correctly. If they're blocked your head lining could be damp...

Check the rest of the interior for dampess. If there is as it dries it will condense on the windows / windscreen. Look at front foot wells and in the load space too, especially that storage box area.
