Hi Guys

Im new to the Forum
Recently bought myself a Discovery 2, mainly for towing a horse box around.
Anyway first time Land Rover Owner and it seems to be sucking me in. I Love it!

So I was changing my Front Anti roll bar links at the weekend and I noticed a empty hole in the front of the Hub Assembly.

I didn't think at the time what it was there for but it appears that I seem to be missing either a
Track rod assembly or a drag link assembly.

Kind of worrying a little
I have been driving it around for a fair few weeks now and it drives sweet as a nut. was really impressed with how it drives for its age and handles...

Can someone tell me which one of the two is at the front of the axel. (as if im standing at the front looking at the window screen)

does the track rod assembly go behind the axel then the drag link assembly go at the front??

Pictures would be grateful.

Would there be any reason to remove the assembly?

Thanks in advance
Kane

drag link in the front track rod at the rear, one side has a spare hole for lhd were drag link ball joint would then sit in that side and not where it does on the passenger side for rhd

your front drag link if its rhd should have and empty front hole on the drivers side as steering box sits on drivers side and so drag link works on opposite wheel
