Have to admit that I had come to accept the sluggishness of my 2.5 DSE. In all other respects it is the best car I've owned but was continually hunting for a few extra BHP and avidly following any postings about others suffering the same problem.
Until today! Thanks to the Landyzone Gurus and their comments about the MAP pipe, I found that mine too was disconnected and may have been so for the 4 years since I've owned the car! Missing BHP found then!
Only difference is that I found the connection nipple under the manifold adjacent to No4 Still, it did the trick and whilst this is never going to be a roadburner the car is much more enjoyable to drive, especially when 'pressing on' a bit.
Thank you one and all!
