before and after pics of my 1984/5 s111 109 ex military...back to metal respray and notice the rear x member had a couple of holes so i stripped to bare metal and filled with weld one hole and replated the other....filled with filler to blend in and etch/primer/paint back to the original....noticed its the angular xmember and not straight as most militarys are....looking for a good nato cover to put over the electrics as mine is a bit battered

wanted to keep them original but the alloy on some were too bad to polish out and one was damaged so a repair and paint was in order....bear in mind all this work so far and i no even drove it on the road to test.....

Looks great mate, Theres quite a few Ex Mod 109's which were just Civvy 109s converted to GS use in some areas, Maybe yours is one of them?.

Besides the Black cappings It looks fantastic!. (I hate black cappings by the way, Dont get what posseses people to paint them, On My 2a I rubbed them down and painted them with Smooth silver hammerite, Looks great!)
