Would anyone be up for a midlands meet on a saturday/Sunday morning? Somewhere like chasewater or something, can bring the dogs and kids, have a breakfast and put faces to names?

Try and do somewhere that's local for the majority, I don't mind travelling a wee bit

I'm buying a house in Shropshire in December. Only to use at weekends and during the holidays.

So will be very keen after Christmas if you manage to keep it going!

Yep, be good to make it a regular thing if it even gets off the ground :D

I tried to do similar in Wiltshire. But there wasn't much interest. I emailed a pub that has Land to see whether we could camp but didn't even hear back from them! I think it's like all these things. You need to get it off the ground and word of mouth will do the rest.

Facebook's probably the best bet now but I'm not on it and never will be! My wife works night shifts most weekends on the bank at the hospital so I'm at a bit of a loose end with the kids most weekends.
I can stand around talking about landys for ages as well it's really sad :p

Bit of a trek for me but.. I'm usually at at loose end weekends so could probably do it.

Im definatly up for a meet, from hants so midlands may be a bit far depending on when it was and notice etc, but anything further South id definatly be interested.

@Big Monkey @dag019 warwickshires a fine area, I'd have no issue coming that way for a day out ;)

Maybe half dozen meet up first and decide which way to take it in terms of a regular spot or move round every few weeks depending on who's available and if it's a bit if a day or just an hour's chat and **** take :p

Ironbridge or Stourport on Severn could work, Leamington is a nice town. Hollybush garden centre in willenhall has got a big car park and play area for kids

Cannock chase, bit dear for parking but good surroundings for landys! Gets busy

Chasewater as mentioned, charge for parking now but it's cheap. Also gets busy but plenty of spaces and could make it early doors

Any other suggestions?

I'm on shift pattern so I couldn't do every weekend but can do odd weekends or the odd Saturday or Sundays! I'm Tamworth based so all of the above are in reasonable travel time for me!

Yeah I'm interested when not working or at car shows. At Silverstone for Trax on 7th with the wife's modified Golf GTi. May even take my Heinz 57
