My 1996 Tdi has not been used since last September, since I have been unable to find a mechanic I can trust to get it moving again reliably. Is there anyone, or does anyone have a friend/recommendation, in the Worcester/Cheltenham/Stratford area who can help?

Why do you think you will need a mechanic?
Check the tyre pressures, charge the battery if it needs it and see if it starts,

Might be an idea to check the radiator and oil as well.

If the brakes aren't seized on give it a run.
