That looks the exact one I got, useful for setting idle speed too, comes with sticky labels to put on crank pulley
 
This is very useful. I suppose I can use it most easily on the belt pulley which I have already marked with a white dot for timing.

I use my ear. If it sounds a bit fast I turn it down a bit and if it struggles to idle I turn it up. :oops:
 
Thanks. I do the same but I wondered how to measure the rpm at cranking speed. I had some information about this from another member.
