Does anyone have information about the steel type/grade (yield/tensile strength or standard) used for the chassis in a 1991 Defender 110 (chassis stamp is 1989)?

I would agree with that, what ever the smelting plant had left at the bottom of the crucible after making proper things was mixed with the slag pile and sent to Solihul!
