My mate from work has just been round after collecting his second car (19 years old) 1998 2.5dt manual 116k, its in nice nick but the interior is a bit mix and match, the passenger seat is electric but does not work and the drivers seat is manual :S it has a/c that does not work and heated seats that do not work, it has the low line becm in it does this mean it should have manual seats and no a/c an no heated seats ?
Thanks:D

I think it should have A/C but not climate control (no digital display and being able to select differewnt temperatures for each side). Manual seats were standard. Heated seats were maybe an extra on the DT but standard on the SE I think.

Any rangy owners with the low line BECM ? could you please tell me what spec you have in the cab ? seats heating etc..
many thanks !

I have a P38 for spares, it's a 96 Dt with a low line BECM. No heated seats, no aircon, no heated screen, no electric seats, no display on HEVAC, just 3 knobs.

No headlamp wash wipe either, forgot that one. Not sure about the trip computer, haven't tried that.

I have a 2.5dt 1995, with a low line BECM its fitted with a climate control digital control panel (incl's heated mirriors) and heated cloth seats (its a pity the elements are broken). I suppect that electric seat control will be a high line BECM.

I'd wait for Irishover or BBS to poke their heads around the door, as they're the ones who will know whats available on a Low Line BECM.
