I've bought some stick on letters from SP 4x4 for the front of the bonnet and bottom of the wing. They are described as titanium silver. I fancy painting the new headlight surrounds and grill to match as similar a silver as possible. On the off chance has anyone done the same and found a rattle can silver paint to match these? I've google titanium silver and a BMW one turns up, but no idea what actual shade it would be. I've emailed SP4x4, but they have never tried to match their letters.

Halfrauds need a paint code, the likes of B&Q do a colour matching service and will mix a metal paint for you if you want a near perfect match.

Either that or or just compare to rattle can lids. Tbh any silver will look a multitude of shades depending on the plane and how light catches it so a perfect match in different places will look different anyway.

The B&Q stuff will be brush on, will it?
I'll probably have to go down the rattle can lid route.

Find a proper automotive paint shop. They will be able to mix you up a rattle can either to any colour code or to match a sample you provide. My local one is cheaper than Halfords, and you get more paint :)

Cheers, gents. I'm thinking I might try an LR silver such as Zambezi or Zermatt. Didn't think of that before
