Tomorrow the 1st June was going to be "T" day the day I was going to tax my 3 Door sport, but not now, not until I get some advice.
I bought the car 7 or 8 days ago but it has stayed on the drive so this morning I went out to give it 90%, I say 90% because at my age there"s noway I can scrabble underneath to check it so I did the Engine bit and then the Switches.
1) Compared to my older and higher mileage Serengeti TD4 Auto the engine of the Sport 3 door Auto sounded rougher and more Rattley.
2) My Wife is disabled and relies on a Wheelchair whenever we go out so when I came to load the chair into the rear loading bay the door wouldn"t open. It feels like there"s is no pressure when I go to press the door handle. Is there maybe a Spring Broken or Missing?
3)Also I was more than suprised to find out the Leather type Seats are not Heated? it has a Heated Screen but no Heated Seats????
All in all not a satisfactory purchase so I contacted the seller and he is coming next week to take the car back. So hey ho it"s back to the drawing board and now to buyer a better Freelander so if anyone is selling one in the New Forest area, contact me.
