Both map reading lights not working. Interior light OK. I have checked bulbs and they are fine but still cannot get them to work. Any ideas??

Probably the slide on earth connector on the pcb. Popular fault. Remove the light cover from the head lining to get at it.

as above, took mine off/apart, emery board on contacts works a treat, check bulbs too mine had gone.

Mine failed recently, looked like a previous sunroof leak onto the PCB. It's a bugger to get the sticky pad off the pcb to check the tracks. I made a couple of 'jumper' cables to replace damaged track and also soldered the rivet connector to the board. Job done!

Cleaned earth connector on pcb -all now working. Thanks for help.
