anyone know of green lanes access in the manchester moors, tracks around corwen and denbigh moors and llangollen . i would like to plan a trip out in the next few week my be the 16th or 17th jan if anyone would like to come along

If you're gonna play in and around N.Wales I can tell ya you won't do some of the byways, the snow drifts are too deep up in them thar hills, certainly around Denbigh. I was up there 30th December, drifts were approaching 4ft deep so you can't get enough speed to push through going up hill especially if you've got green ice under the snow. As far as I know the Wayfarer is still closed (i've not heard otherwise). Clocaenog may be doable.
