does anyone know of anywhere offering instruction on landy maintenance? I'd like to get some knowledge/confidence to help me equip a defender for an overland expedition and maintain it en route. Does anywhere run courses? I'd be grateful for advice.
well most of us learnt our selves from this very forum so keep an eye on the 'how to threads' an all other problems an you'll soon pick it up

Sounds as if you are going out on a limb here mucker, if you were well expeerienced then you wud know what, or one of your group wud.
Have you offroaded before, is there a group, are you a mechanic, is there a mechanic. From what I have read it's best to go in a group spreading the spares and tools within the vehicles, dunt fink I wud go far on me own.
I go on me own and **** meself every time I get stuck, it's fokin scary stuff, but only a couple of hours walk to help at most.
