is this a MAF sensor it is on a 1997 300 tdi, I've been told that it doesn't have one if it is what is the best way to clean it, at the moment she is not likeing going up hills I will change the air filter as well but wanted to do the sensor as well if that is what it is

Looks like it could be. Assuming it's an auto?

Yep thats the MAF used on the 300tdi engine with edc.
My disco didn't want to go up hills either and i fitted a new lift pump - what a difference!!!

I've fitted a new lift pump, but not much diffrence, will blanking the EGR help,and is it as straight forward as it looks, on the back of that as well is there anything I should watch out for if I do clean the MAF sensor
