P p7rns New Member Aug 14, 2010 #1 I have a problem with my MAF sensor, my td4 is sluggish to 3000 revs, so I removed the sensor and the problem has gone. Is it ok to run the car for a short while with it unplugged til I get it fixed ?

Blippie Well-Known Member Aug 15, 2010 #3 Yes, it goes into a default mode that is pretty good, but not as fuel efficient or effective as having a functional MAF. Try Roverron's website for MAF advice... Tuning-diesels for cheaper diesel tuning.
